What has been going on....
So a lot has happened since my last post. Let's see...
Making A Pizza
On Friday, June 11th 2010, we had our first pizza making experience. It was Mariko, Charlotte, Jessica, and myself. What a fun experience!!! We put olives, green onions, brown sugar ham, and broccoli on the pizza topped with mozarella cheese. It came out better than I thought. Way forward, though, Papa John's is the way to go. Their pizza is soooooo deeelish. Either way, we had fun making our first pizza and enjoyed eating it too.

Jessica is Growing Up
So Friday morning at 5:00 Jessica woke up screaming "Mama!!!" I tried to shush her back to sleep through the two way monitor, but then she started screaming "Potty". After many attempts to shush her to sleep, I finally went in to her room to get her. I took off her sleeper and diaper, which was dry. She went pee and then I put everything back on. Thank goodness....she went back to sleep. She is 21 months old. I am so proud of her!!!!!

Unexpected Milestone
So yesterday I was upstairs putting away laundry. I had left my little girls watching the Incredibles downstairs. While I was upstair I heard a kitchen drawer close and some movement. I didn't hear any screaming or yelling or crying so I continued to put clothes away. Soon after, I went downstairs only to find Charlotte sitting at her activity table enjoying a yo baby yogurt with her spoon and Jessica hanging out in the kitchen nibbling on her string cheesestick. Charlotte proceeded to tell me how she went into the fridge and got herself a yogurt and then got a spoon. While she was in the fridge, she figured she'd get Jessica a cheesestick to snack on, opened the wrapping for Jess, and then sat down to enjoy her yogurt...... I was surely not expecting any of this....thus, the Unexpected Milestone =).

Floor Puzzles
So I was over at my friend Christine's and came across another neat find for my older daughter Charlotte........Floor Puzzles. They are for the 3 year-old age and up...very cool. I bought mine from Amazon. You can just search on "floor puzzles". We have the dinosaur one and farm theme. They are both a lot of fun to do together. It's always nice when you can find activities to do together that are enjoyable. I love watching her put the pieces together.
Poo Poo Play Dough
So this morning I was with my 2 girls chillin'. We went to the park and then they were chilling with their favorite movie, The Incredibles. Jess, my younger one, came up to me and started saying chee chee (our word for yuckeeez) and held out her hand. As she got closer, I thought...surely not what I think it could be...It was a wadded piece of dookie with bits of corn and carrots in it.....yyyyyuuuuucccckkk!!! Words cannot describe my disgust...

Floor Puzzles
I just returned from a morning playdate and lunch with a good friend of mine who lives nearby. We always seem to discover new things from each other, which is great. She introduced me to the world of Floor Puzzles...perfect for 3 year-olds. I will definitely be ordering some soon from amazon.
